Local police witnesses testified city by city. Detroit came first, on October 10 and 11, with Commissioner George C. Edwards and Inspector Vincent W. Piersante. Chicago followed on October 11, with William L. Duffy and a statement by Deputy Superintendent Joseph Morris. Tampa and Rhode Island were heard on October 15, with Neil G. Brown and Walter E. Stone. Buffalo came last, on October 16, with Commissioner William H. Schneider, Michael Amico and Samuel Giambrone. The regional organization charts are Exhibits 18, 39, 40, 45, 53, 64 and 65. Many other exhibits were filed and not printed.
This archive has read the Chicago statement and the chart presentations closely. The Detroit, Tampa, Rhode Island and Buffalo testimony is recorded here only at volume level.
